Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator
COLLIN SPRINGS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL, MCKINNEY, TEXAS offers a Nurse Educator position focused on behavioral health.
Responsibilities- Develop in‑services and continuing education for nursing and auxiliary staff.
- Provide educational offerings and materials based on identified staff needs and the Nursing Education Council.
- Serve as a knowledge base and resource to consult with and educate nursing and medical staff, students, and ancillary staff members.
- Coordinate, teach, and facilitate certification courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other courses as requested).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required);
Master’s Degree preferred. - Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor.
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and in a stressful environment.
- FLSA status:
Non‑exempt.
