Position

Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care (Level III)

Shift

Nights, 7pm – 7am

Unit Details

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for infants 23 weeks gestation and older. Patient population is high acuity; ratios are 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity. Number of beds: 13. Department specifics:
Level III Designated NICU, >95% BSN, 34% specialty certified, 200+ admissions annually, active Unit Practice Council.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • RNs must be licensed in Texas
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited Program
  • Minimum of 3 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing
  • RN license
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
