Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

McKinney, TX

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 10A-10P with occasional varying day to mid shifts (i.e., 6A, 9A, 10A, 11A).

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. As an integral part of the medical team, the ED RN will ensure optimal patient experiences and promote safety and efficiency within the department.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Manage patient flow and support critical care protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR
  - Medi Tech).
• Participate in trauma care and adherence to safety standards.

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
