Mother Baby RN – Night Shift, full‑time with rotating weekends.
OverviewAs a Mother Baby RN – Night Shift, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn – whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You will help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
- ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 years of start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Neonate Resuscitation obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license
- 1+ year Mother Baby RN experience required
