Travel RN - PACU
Location:
McKinney, TX
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7 A.M. to 7 P.M., with on-call requirements for one day a week and one weekend per month.
Job Description:
The Travel RN - PACU is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and the ability to monitor patients recovering from anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
- Administer medications and manage patient pain levels.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must possess a current RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a PACU or similar critical care environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
