Registered Nurse NICU

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU environment, ensuring safe and effective treatment during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care and support families.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately for neonatal patients.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and respond promptly to changes.
• Attend deliveries, including C-sections, and provide immediate neonatal care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN license; temporary licenses not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Level III NICU.
• Certification in BLS and NRP required.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Neonatal equipment such as BCPAP and HFNC preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
