Pana Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused individual to serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This position plays an important role in supporting our nursing team and providing quality, hands-on care to patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, vital signs, and other basic patient-care needs while promoting patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety.

Salary Range $18.08 - $21.70 (based on experience)

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing and without disciplinary action.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and protect PHI.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to lift and carry and perform medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching.
• Ability to push carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when required.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check with no disqualifying findings.
