Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide specialized emergency nursing care in a high-volume, trauma-designated emergency department. Deliver critical patient assessments and interventions to ensure rapid, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, certifications, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with applicable state credentials.
• Minimum of one year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-energy, fast-paced clinical assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
