Seasonal Commitment Information

COMPLETION BONUS OFFERED!!

  • Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1 st week of orientation)
  • $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
  • Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day)
  • The first week is Monday
    - Friday orientation.
  • Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.

Requirements
- Min of 2.5 yr. Acute Care/ Med Surg Tele hospital experience

Shift: Days 7am-7pm

Acute Care Unit

Patient Population:
General Adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry

Patient Ratios: 1:5

Number of Beds: 48 beds

Department Specifics:
Magnet facility, >80% BSN, strong practice council, will pay for nursing certification, free charge nurses, dedicated unit supervisors for day and night shift, opportunities for skill advancement and growth, great collaboration across disciplines and wonderful inter-department teamwork.
