Nurse Manager Orthopedics

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 1 year of Management experience within Unit but would like a candidate with several years of nursing professional experience

The Nurse Manager Orthopedics will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Orthopedics unit at our facility in McKinney, TX. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum of 1 year of Management experience within Unit but would like a candidate with several years of nursing professional experience. The Nurse Manager Orthopedics will be responsible for managing the staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Manage the daily operations of the Orthopedics unit
• Ensure quality patient care is provided
• Manage and supervise staff
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in the hiring and training of staff
• Manage the budget for the Orthopedics unit

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 1 year of Management experience within Unit but would like a candidate with several years of nursing professional experience
• Current RN license in the state of Texas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of care
