Registered Nurse – PRN​/Nights

Role:

The Staff Nurse provides highly technical, patient-centered nursing care within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality treatment.

Render direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), supervise team members, communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, ensure safety, and maintain accurate documentation.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed in Texas, with at least 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. BLS certification and additional departmental certifications are required.

Knowledge of hospital policies and standards, effective communication, professionalism, and initiative for growth. Responsible for patient education, medication safety, and creating a therapeutic environment, always seeking to improve patient experience and team performance.

Work involves physical demands such as standing, moving, bending, and handling materials, with exposure to blood and body fluids, and hazardous conditions requiring safety precautions.
