We are looking for a versatile individual with CSR experience who is also willing to assist on the floor and help with technician restraint or other duties. At Thrive Pet Healthcare – McKinney, we provide comprehensive primary care services for cats and dogs across the metro‑Dallas area, including McKinney, Frisco, Prosper, Princeton, and Fairview. Our team offers wellness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and other preventive care services.

• Client service experience and at least 1 year in veterinary medicine highly preferred.
• Experience working as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician willing to help as a CSR encouraged.
• Great communication skills – team oriented with an ability to collaborate and support one another.
• Outstanding multi‑tasker.
• Must be able to work rotating weekends and certain holidays.
• Desire to practice empathetic, gold‑standard medicine benefiting our patients.
• Positive, kind, and trustworthy in communication with patients, team members, and clients.
• Desire to constantly grow and advance as a valued member.

• Help strengthen relationships with our clients by greeting them and their pets, and completing new client registration.
• Educate clients and answer non‑medical inquiries.
• Maintain client relationships and service standards by responding to phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls as needed; monitor email and faxes regularly.
• Schedule appointments, including in‑office diagnostics, and communicate with referring staff to access patient records; create reminders and reschedule missed appointments.
• Maintain accurate computer records with up‑to‑date client and patient data; verify each patient entering the hospital.
• Keep front desk, reception area, waiting areas, and exam rooms neat and clean.
• Ensure financial responsibilities are met; review charges for services upon completion or discharge, and reconcile the cash drawer with computer‑generated reporting.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
