Role Overview

Position within the Test Solutions (TS) organization of the Hardware Engineering Discipline, focused on the design, development, integration, and repair of electronics supporting on‑site factory operations for Electro‑Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) test systems.

• Design, develop, integrate, and repair electronics for factory/test equipment supporting EO/IR test systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic hardware used in factory test operations.
• Maintain test equipment systems in a factory/production environment, including exercise and analysis of hardware deliverable products.
• Collaborate with teams to develop test systems, cabling, test interface adapters (ITAs), circuit designs, schematic creation, drawings, and update existing drawings.
• Support design improvements, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance of special test equipment (STE).
• Prioritize, handle, and lead multiple tasks in a production environment.

• Must have:
  Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and interpreting schematics.
• Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
• Preferred:
  Experience with EO/IR test systems in a production environment.
• Experience using integrated development environments and debugging tools for software troubleshooting.
• Experience developing and integrating automated test stations/systems.
• Experience with computer hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS‑422.
• Experience with NI software such as LabVIEW, Test Stand, or other test software programming languages.
• Understanding of UUT/ATE test software requirements, design, implementation, integration, validation, and verification processes.
• Technical writing skills and ability to collaborate with a cross‑functional team.

• Compensation range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (salary range).
