Position Summary

Job:
Quality Management System Manager – Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) program.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure inspect ability, testability and producibility are considered during early development and flow down to lower-level requirements.
  • Engage and oversee technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings focused on the technical requirements traceability.
  • Guide Root Cause Corrective Actions and Failure Review Boards to resolve systemic failure reviews through corrective action items.
  • Provide integrated perspective of the program’s technical risk that considers criticality, system safety, reliability, test and evaluation criteria and adverse trend.
  • Review and approve engineering program documentation prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
  • Assure impact of advisories (supplier, RISA, GIDEP, customer advisories) are considered.
  • Interface directly with program management, cross-functional program managers, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years in Quality, Mission Assurance, or Engineering Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or AS9100).
  • Experience in industry and government Mission Assurance requirements and standards.
  • Experience collaborating with team members to develop solutions to problems.
  • Experience in Risk & Opportunity Management, assessment, mitigation and capture.
  • Experience applying predictive and proactive measures, metrics assessments, and guiding actions to improve performance.
  • Strong written/verbal presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Raytheon Corrective Action System (RCAS) or a close-loop corrective action system.
  • Six Sigma Specialist or Greenbelt Certification.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management (EVMS Level II).
  • Prior experience with AS9145 or similar program.
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) experience.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
  • Experience with Material and Failure nonconformance review boards.
  • Experience with Raytheon Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) gating or program phasing.
  • Mission Assurance Lead 3 Certification.
  • Program Management/Project Management experience.
  • Systems engineering, reliability and system safety requirements knowledge.
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance

The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a Doctor of Defense clearance.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD. Additional incentives may be offered depending on level and company performance.

Work Location

Onsite role in McKinney, Texas. Employees working in onsite roles will primarily work onsite, including production and maintenance staff.
