Overview

Back of House Team Members prepare high-quality food, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support efficient restaurant operations. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

* Prepare food according to Chick-fil-A recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

* Follow all food safety practices: proper handwashing, temperature monitoring, sanitation, labeling, and allergen awareness.

* Maintain product quality through correct timing, rotation, and handling of ingredients.

* Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and inspection ready.

* Support speed of service while protecting quality

* Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.

* Support kitchen flow by prepping, cooking, stocking, and cleaning as needed.

* Communicate clearly with teammates to maintain speed and accuracy during service.

* Demonstrate the Core 4 in all interactions:

* Create eye contact

* Share a smile

* Speak with an enthusiastic tone

* Stay connected

Food Safety & Food Quality

This role is also responsible for upholding strict food safety and quality standards. Guests trust us with the food they and their families eat, so proper procedures must be followed every time-with no exceptions.

Qualifications

* Strong work ethic and attention to detail

* Ability to stay focused and calm in a fast-paced environment

* Team-oriented attitude

* Coachable and willing to learn

* Reliable and punctual

* Bi-lingual preferred

* Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required
