At McKinney Hat Company, we take pride in delivering a first-class customer experience rooted in Western heritage and craftsmanship. We specialize in premium hats from brands like Stetson and Resistol, offering expert fitting, shaping, and customizations that make every hat personal to the customer. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Hat Shaper and Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a memorable in-store experience.

This role is all about hospitality—guiding customers through the process, paying attention to the details, and helping them walk out with a hat they feel confident in.

• Deliver a first-class customer experience from the moment each guest walks in
• Guide customers through the full hat-buying experience, including sizing, styling, and shaping
• Educate customers on product details, materials, and proper hat care
• Assist with in-store hat shaping and customizations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor at all times
• Operate the register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently
• Support daily store operations, including restocking and inventory upkeep

• Previous hat shaping experience
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Takes initiative and is eager to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Interest in Western wear, craftsmanship, or fashion is a plus
• Weekend availability is required

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
