Position: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Electrician (Industrial)

Pay & Schedule
  • Hours:

    Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM), rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule
  • Pay: $30 – $40/hr base + $2/hr night shift differential
Your Impact (Key Responsibilities)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment—including PLCs, NC/CNC controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test gear.
  • Apply electrical/electronic and mechanical theory; draft/interpret specifications; ensure work aligns with local and national electrical codes.
  • Install, start up, and shut down machinery per company safety procedures and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain required maintenance/performance documentation for assigned assets.
  • Perform other related maintenance tasks as assigned.
Must‑Have Background (Qualifications)
  • Two‑year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training (required).
  • 3–5 years of proven experience across electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Expertise with electrical/electronic components and specialized diagnostic instruments.
  • Able to work in overhead areas, under machines, and in confined spaces to analyze/repair.
  • Comfort around high‑voltage equipment.
  • Capable of pushing, pulling, or lifting heavy parts/components with or without assistance.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive movements.
  • Extended periods of walking.
  • Kneeling, crouching, stooping.
  • Use of hands for handling tools, components, and controls.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs while bending, twisting, and/or standing.
Core Competencies
  • PLC troubleshooting.
  • Electrical schematic reading.
  • Electrical troubleshooting (advanced).
  • General troubleshooting methodology.
  • 120/208/240/480 VAC systems.
  • Electrical systems diagnostics and repair.
  • Production‑floor electrical troubleshooting.
  • Pneumatic system troubleshooting.
  • Industrial electrical experience.
  • Understanding of industrial electrical systems.
  • Heavy equipment electrical systems & diagnostics.
  • CNC machine troubleshooting.
Technology You’ll Work With
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
  • PLC platforms:
    Siemens, Allen‑Bradley.
