• Install, maintain, and repair plant machinery and facility systems
• Diagnose and resolve unplanned downtime and breakdowns
• Execute preventive maintenance during scheduled outages
• Troubleshoot using manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work orders
• Repair/replace components, test functionality, and make final adjustments
• Assist with equipment install, startup, and shutdown aligned to Prysmian and OSHA standards
• Document work performed and maintain accurate equipment histories
• Other duties supporting safe, efficient operations

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write in English
• Comfort working near high‑voltage equipment and in heat‑intensive areas
• Ability to work overhead, in tight spaces, and under machinery
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy parts with or without assistance

• Hands‑on tool use and component handling
• Lifting up to 50 lbs., with bending, twisting, and standing

• Heavy equipment repair
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Pneumatics troubleshooting and repair
• Conveyor chain replacement
• Maintenance and repair best practices
• Fuel systems
• Mechanical assembly
• Mechanical systems/component repair
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

• Starting pay: $30–$40 per hour
