Do you light up when a PLC throws a fault and the schematic becomes your roadmap? Comfortable working with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems? Willing to climb overhead, slide under a machine, or squeeze into tight spaces to get production back online? If you’re nodding yes—and you can lift up to 50 lbs while staying safe—you might be the Plant Automation Electrician we’re looking for.
What You’ll Take OnHunt down and resolve issues across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems—PLCs, NC/CNC controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test instruments included
Leverage strong electrical/electronic and mechanical theory; develop/interpret specifications; and ensure work aligns with local and national electrical codes
Install equipment, bring it up safely, and shut it down correctly following company procedures and OSHA expectations
Document maintenance activities and performance data for assigned equipment
Pitch in with related maintenance assignments as needed
Schedule & Pay
Hours:
Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM) following a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Rotation:
Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then reverse the following week Starting Pay: $30 - $40/hr base + $2/hr night differential
What You Bring Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent technical preparation (required)3–5 years of demonstrated success across electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines
Deep familiarity with electrical/electronic components and specialized diagnostic tools
Ability to work overhead, underneath machines, and in confined spaces
Experience around high-voltage electrical systems
Strength to push, pull, or lift heavy parts with or without assistance
Physical Realities of the Job Repetitive tasks and frequent walking
Kneeling, crouching, and stooping
Hands-on work handling tools, parts, and controls
Lifting up to 50 lbs while bending, twisting, and/or standing

Proficiency reading electrical schematics
Electrical troubleshooting at an advanced level
Broad troubleshooting mindset
Experience with 120/208/240/480 VAC power
Electrical system diagnostics and repair
Electrical troubleshooting in production environments

Hands-on industrial electrical background
Understanding of industrial electrical architectures
