CXC Talent Solutions is seeking Assistant Maintenance Technicians to join our team in the North Dallas - McKinney area. • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies, parts, and equipment.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests.
• Ensure apartment homes are turned over efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues, including replacing components.
• Troubleshoot and complete plumbing and electrical repairs, such as fixing toilets, light fixtures, garbage disposals, and ceiling fans.
• Install, repair, and rekey door and window locks.
• Perform interior and exterior touch-up painting as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all common areas, including pools, hallways, breezeways, and parking lots.

• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

• Minimum of one year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC systems (EPA Certification required).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/painting, carpentry, ceramic tile, fixture, and appliance installation/removal and repairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Some college or technical school (preferred).
• Relevant maintenance certifications, including HVAC, EPA, and CPO.

• Valid, non-expired driver's license or state-issued .
• Reliable transportation.
• Must have proper tools and equipment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
