Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Typical Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7AM
-5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: $26-$33/hr Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Position Requirements
  • You should have 2 to 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
  • Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
  • Must have the necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
  • Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques to stay current in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Attention to detail inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
  • Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
