Heavy Equipment Mechanic
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Pay Range: $26-$33/hr Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus
Location: McKinney, TX 75071 (shop)
Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM
-5PM (Overtime Eligible)

- Eligibility requirements for $2,000 Retention Bonus paid out in equal installments over 24 months every 6 months.
- You should have 2 to 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
- Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
- Must have the necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
- Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques to stay current in a fast-evolving industry.
- Attention to detail inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
- Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
