Position Overview
Prysmian is looking for a motivated electrical helper to support our electrical project shop with installations, maintenance, and project work under the supervision of senior staff. The role requires hands‑on support to keep our world‑class manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions- Assist with electrical installations, pulling wire and installing conduit.
- Read schematics, drawings, and interpret electrical plans.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and policies.
Pay:
Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
1st Year Apprentice: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
2–3 Years of Electrical
Experience:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour.
- High School Diploma, or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of electrical construction, industrial electrical, or related experience.
- Trade school training, electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent technical education preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices, wiring methods, conduit installation, and electrical tools.
- Requires repetitive physical activity, including walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, bending, twisting, and standing.
- Requires frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Requires working at heights.
