What You Will Do- Support all aspects of the software development life cycle for embedded systems, including concept, requirement, design, development, integration, test and maintenance.
- Provide creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration problems.
- Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to design solutions that meet end‑user and operational requirements.
- Maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and, if required, a Special Access Program security clearance.
- Work onsite in McKinney, TX and travel occasionally for business purposes.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Development experience on Linux, VxWorks or other real‑time operating systems.
- Strong object‑oriented programming skills in C++; experience in developing, testing and integrating real‑time software applications written in C++.
- Knowledge of C, C#, Java or closely related languages.
- Working knowledge of computer scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or Python.
- Experience working with multi‑discipline teams.
- U.S. citizenship required for eligibility for security clearance.
- Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware (e.g., test benches, simulators).
- Rapid understanding of complex systems and established code bases.
- Experience with Scrum and agile software development processes.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops pipelines, static code analysis, automated build and test techniques, and test‑driven development.
- Hands‑on experience with Git for version control and Git Lab for repository management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CUDA for accelerating compute‑intensive workloads on Nvidia GPUs.
- Competitive salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
