What You Will Do- Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for on‑site factory support of test systems.
- Create applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the organization’s specified software style, language, and IDE.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering teams, including development of engineering and production test equipment and environments.
- Participate in all stages of test product development for Raytheon test products.
- Independently uncover and resolve issues associated with test system development and implementation.
- Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test software for factory/production environments, exercising and analyzing hardware deliverable products.
- Support cradle‑to‑grave activities: requirements, design, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance for all test software.
- Prioritize, manage, and lead multiple tasks in a production environment.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware for test equipment development.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams, functional and program leadership.
- B.S. or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or M.S./Ph.D. with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing and integrating software applications using C, C++, C#, NI LabVIEW, NI Test Stand, or similar test‑software languages.
- Experience developing automated test stations/systems.
- Experience with ATE test software requirements, design, implementation, integration, validation, and verification processes.
- Experience with ATE graphical user interface (GUI) and/or Test Program Set (TPS) test software.
- Knowledge of software configuration management environments such as Git or Git Hub.
- Proficiency in Agile software development environments.
- Experience with cross‑platform tool development supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Wind River vx Works, Linux embedded OS.
- Experience with FTP and data transfer between unit under test and test set computer for software/firmware loading and data capture; familiarity with FPGA code development.
- Experience with Wind River Workbench, Wind River Tornado, Xilinx Vivado, and Xilinx SDK.
- Experience with JTAG interfaces and tools for software, firmware, and board support package (BSP) programming.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Competitive salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 (USD).
