Lead Operator – Road & Bridge Department
Collin County seeks a Lead Operator to supervise job sites by directing equipment operators, truck drivers and repair crews. Responsibilities include construction, maintenance and repair of roads, guardrails, bridges, asphalt and drainage systems, as well as shop repairs such as welding, painting and grinding. Administrative duties involve reading and interpreting construction plans, maintaining daily records, fuel sheets and inventory logs. Related duties may be assigned.
Work is performed under the direction of the Foreman.
- Minimum four years of experience as an Equipment Operator.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Valid Texas Class A CDL Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Knowledge of basic operational, technical, and office processes.
