CDL Route Driver

Overview

OTR Route Driver position with Vestis; deliver merchandise to cleanroom laundry facility.

• Operate company tractor‑trailer safely and efficiently.
• Confirm route schedule and details with Market Center Cleanroom Manager.
• Verify daily preventive maintenance, schedule regular maintenance, and maintain vehicle documentation.
• Manage daily route to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues promptly and courteously.
• Load/unload product per company policies.
• Ensure personal safety and safety of others, comply with safety practices.
• Adhere to Federal, State, and local transportation laws and regulations.
• Carry required driving license and medical certification.
• Perform additional duties as needed within scope.

Exposure to varying weather conditions, fast‑paced environment, irregular and long hours. Must lift/maneuver 25–50 lbs., stand/walk while loading, sit while driving. Use hands for grasping, push/pull up to 50+ lbs., bend, squat, climb, reach.

• Customer service experience.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, solve customer concerns.

High school degree or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Valid CDL‑A driver’s license.
• Minimum 1‑year full‑time semi‑tractor trailer driving experience.
• Excellent driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.

$27 per hour.
