Associate Shipper/Receiver
Location:
Theodore, AL. Full-time, non-exempt position. Pay: $19.00 per hour plus $2.50 shift differential for every hour worked.
Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon‑Thu 5:00PM – 4:00AM).
Responsibilities- Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
- Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
- Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
- Receive, stock, and rotate product.
- Identify, tag, store, and locate finished inventory.
- Create and apply documents such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet or shipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Simpson Strong‑Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
- D.O.T. Haz Mat Training required (will certify at hire).
- 0‑3 months of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
- Equipment:
Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack. - Safety:
Prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment. - Math Reasoning:
Add and subtract two‑digit numbers; multiply and divide by tens and hundreds. - Work Independently:
Follow written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines and company policies. - Attendance:
Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with company policy. - Communication
Skills:
Speak effectively to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization; listen and ask questions to ensure understanding. - Quality Standards Knowledge:
Understand company quality standards and quality control processes. - Problem Solving:
Solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization. - Teamwork:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Operate large equipment and maintain position.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds with proper equipment.
- Work in an environment with loud noise levels.
- Potential exposure to dust, heat, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
- Travel:
Domestic and international travel up to 0% of the time.
