Strategy and Transformation Consultant

What You Will Do

As part of a team, provide comprehensive support to a nascent federal organization with a broad mandate to drive transformational change across a cabinet‑level agency. Collaborate directly with senior‑level clients in a fast‑paced environment to shape and execute strategy, including stakeholder engagement, internal operations, communications, and program execution.

The successful candidate will have at least 1‑3 years of professional experience with expertise in two or more of the following areas:

• Proven abilities and prior success working in a fast‑paced environment with expectations to own and create a workstream, serving as a client advisor to help provide clarity and direction in ambiguous situations.
• Prior development of strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables.
• Prior experience in creating C‑Suite level strategic communications and visuals (i.e. one‑pagers, “slick sheets,” etc.).
• Prior experience developing and executing a stakeholder engagement and communications plan to engender alignment and buy‑in across a large, diverse set of stakeholders without direct lines of reporting/authority.
• Prior experience in preparing and/or facilitating client meetings and synthesizing data into high‑level outputs.
• Prior experience facilitating the implementation of program and program management initiatives.

Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, developers, architects and subject matter experts.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects in addition to time‑sensitive ad‑hoc requests.
• Excellent skills in MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel).
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization approaches and tools.
