Procurement and Global Supply Chain Intern
The OpportunityAs a Procurement and Global Supply Chain Intern, you will support supply chain operations across sourcing, purchasing, subcontract management, and supplier coordination. This role is suited for someone seeking hands‑on experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and cost or lead‑time optimization within a dynamic program environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Work On- Assist with preparing and issuing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and sourcing documentation.
- Support supplier communication, including follow‑up on lead times, order status, and delivery updates.
- Help maintain procurement records, data entry, and status tracking within internal systems.
- Conduct basic cost, pricing, or market research to support sourcing decisions.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintain supplier scorecards, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Support compliance with internal procurement policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards, including FAR or DFARS, if applicable.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings with contracts, finance, and program teams.
- Identify and recommend process‑improvement opportunities within the supply chain workflow.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Teams.
- Experience working with spreadsheets such as in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering by Spring 2027.
- Experience with supply chain principles, purchasing, logistics, or contract or subcontract management.
- Experience with data analysis or research.
- Knowledge of ERP or supply chain management systems.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations such as FAR or DFARS.
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
- Possession of excellent organizational skills.
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation for this position is expected to range from $48,000.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
