Position Overview
At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and help make home ownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation. The Multifamily division is seeking a Business Resiliency, Risk and Controls Senior to support the Governance and Business Services group. This role involves design, development, and facilitation of business resiliency tests, maintenance of business continuity plans, business impact analysis documentation, crisis communication plans, and management reporting.

- Evaluate the division’s ability to minimize disruptions through effective resiliency strategies.
- Focus on Resiliency Testing, Continuity Planning, Strategy and Governance, and Crisis Management.
- Protect assets by building partnerships, optimizing operational resiliency, and enforcing sound risk management practices.
- Engage with Multifamily business process owners to create, document, and review BIAs/BCPs on a timely basis.
- Identify, document, and analyze operational resiliency risks through testing.
- Collaborate with key partners to plan and develop resiliency tests and improve operational resiliency across the division.
- Assist in preparing divisional reporting.
- Develop and improve the resiliency risk profile within a high-performance culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in business with 5+ years of overall experience.
- Experience in Business Resiliency, Crisis or Emergency Management, Operational Risk Management, or Audit preferred.
- Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning, Testing, and/or Risk Management concepts.
- ABCP or CBCP certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships at all levels.
- Effective project management and presentation skills.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills.
- High energy, creativity, flexibility, and dedication to the role.
- Effective communication with various levels of leadership.
- Excellent project, time management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and reporting lines.
- Focus on delivering the best solutions for the business.
- Ability to apply data to advise strategy and direction.
- Knowledge of the Multifamily business or industry is helpful.
Full‑time, exempt position with an annualized market‑based salary range of $96,000 – $144,000. Eligible for the annual incentive program. Benefits information is available on the Careers site.
