Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector welcomes those passionate about innovation and exploration. As a Program Cost Control - Level 2 based in Dulles or McLean, VA, you will run 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule—every other Friday off.
Your Mission- Set up a cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, including fact‑finding and negotiation support
- Analyze and prepare reports to ensure contracts remain within negotiated parameters and government cost‑control guidelines
- Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks such as WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment, and visibility reports
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with financial analysis or reporting
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
- Defense industry experience
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
- Program Cost Control experience
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 – $

Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and share in company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
