Summary The Senior CMMI Lead Appraiser/Quality Director serves as the principal advisor for organizational process maturity, quality management, and continuous process improvement initiatives supporting the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
This position leads organizational assessments and CMMI appraisals, evaluates enterprise performance against established maturity models, identifies opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, and provides strategic recommendations to senior leadership that enhance mission performance, efficiency, compliance, and organizational excellence. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage CMMI maturity assessments and organizational appraisals across multiple business and mission areas.
* Evaluate organizational processes against CMMI maturity standards and identify opportunities for process optimization and performance improvement.
* Develop strategic recommendations that strengthen organizational effectiveness, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
* Advise executive leadership on process improvement initiatives, organizational maturity, and quality management best practices.
* Facilitate assessment planning, interviews, documentation reviews, and appraisal activities with government stakeholders and program teams.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging industry best practices, lessons learned, and performance metrics.
* Ensure alignment with applicable Federal, Intelligence Community (IC), and organizational quality standards.
* Present assessment findings, executive briefings, and improvement roadmaps to senior government leadership.
* Promote a culture of quality, process discipline, and organizational excellence throughout the enterprise. Qualifications
* Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
* Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, organizational assessments, process improvement, or related disciplines.
* Demonstrated experience leading CMMI Maturity Level 3-5 organizational assessments and appraisals.
* Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), or other Federal Government agencies.
* Strong knowledge of:
* Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
* Lean Six Sigma
* ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
* Continuous Improvement methodologies
* Excellent executive-level communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified CMMI Lead Appraiser.
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent quality/process improvement certification.
* Experience implementing enterprise quality management systems and organizational process improvement frameworks.
