Overview
Xanitos is seeking a Bench Ambulatory Manager at Kaiser Permanente Tysons Corner Medical Center, Tysons Corner, Va. The purpose of this role is to prepare the incumbent to assume the operational duties of the EVS Ambulatory department through hands‑on training and managerial experience under the direction of an experienced Area Ambulatory Manager.
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.

- Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and general use of equipment.
- Ensure that EVS and cleaning staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
- Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to reach their full potential.
- Discipline associates when necessary, according to progressive disciplinary guidelines.
- Prepare disciplinary reports, conduct follow‑up investigations and reporting, and conduct disciplinary meetings with guidance from the Area Manager.
- Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly.
- Demonstrate and promote Legion’s culture, values, and management philosophy.
- Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all client locations.
- Special project work as requested.
- EVS healthcare experience.
- Ambulatory experience.
- Floorcare experience.
- Employees in Healthcare required to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19; otherwise, report vaccination status via secure portal.
- High school diploma required; college degree or equivalent preferred.
- One to three years of supervisory experience in a service‑related field with high customer/client contact.
- Flexible to work differing shifts.
- Strong service/quality attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
- Proficient in the use of Windows‑based office software.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent or better.
