We are looking for an experienced Business Process Architect with a proven track record in process excellence, automation and AI‑enabled transformation. The role will lead initiatives for financial services and banking clients to optimize business operations using AI and automation. The candidate should understand banking, insurance, or capital markets operations and have hands‑on experience implementing automation and AI solutions. The role blends strategic guidance and hands‑on delivery to align transformation initiatives with enterprise goals and measurable business outcomes.
This is a full‑time opportunity with an expectation of 50% domestic travel and up to 10% international travel as required.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage automation, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to enhance productivity, reduce risk and achieve operational efficiencies.
- Design and implement target‑state operating models that integrate automation and AI solutions into business processes.
- Develop process frameworks, governance models and standards to ensure consistency, scalability and compliance.
- Lead the development of robust business cases for proposed initiatives, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment and defining KPIs and metrics.
- Lead the design and implementation of business architecture frameworks aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain business architecture artifacts such as capability maps, value stream models, organizational structures and process flows.
- Design and develop a multi‑year process transformation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic impact and feasibility, outlining dependencies and timelines.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to define transformation strategies, develop business cases, and align initiatives to enterprise goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with senior business leaders, IT partners, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and obtain buy‑in for change initiatives.
- Collaborate with enterprise, solution, and data architects to ensure technology solutions support business capabilities and align with the overall IT framework.
- Coordinate with global teams to support client delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 6–8 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in business architecture, process improvement or operational efficiency within financial services organizations.
- Proven track record of leading transformation projects and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of business process modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Knowledge of process intelligence capabilities (process mining, task mining) is a plus.
- Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS).
- Experience with change management principles and practices.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
