Senior Business Analyst

Serve as a Senior Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - Service Now team. Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Service Now-related initiatives. Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of Service Now solutions across the platform. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Analyze current-state and future-state processes to recommend efficient, scalable solutions. Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively. Assist with testing activities, including test planning, execution support, and validation of delivered functionality. Maintain documentation and help ensure project deliverables are aligned with business goals and technical standards.

Location:

Washington DC/Metro area highly preferred due to client location - up to 25% travel to Guidehouse or client office

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least THREE (3) years specializing in Service Now. Proven experience working on several projects. Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation. Experience creating user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
