Sr. Associate, Volunteerism Reporting & Data Enablement - Community Impact & Investment
Community Impact and Investment is undergoing a multi‑year transformation to align its business strategy with social impact, launching innovative community‑focused investment approaches. The Associate Activation team fuels a culture of service and volunteerism across the enterprise by building, testing, and delivering services that empower associates to contribute to community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Harness and Leverage Data to Inform Decision Making
:
Utilize volunteer data from internal databases, surveys, and regulatory reporting; collaborate with Data Analysts to build Tableau dashboards that translate data into actionable tools; monitor and forecast volunteer engagement to meet regulatory targets. - Mobilize Associates with a Business Mindset
:
Engage Community Champions to drive associate participation; provide data, resources, and best practices to amplify Capital One’s volunteer culture; capture and report volunteerism metrics, including regulatory qualification compliance and team progress. - Build Repeatable Processes and Resources That Meet Customer Needs
:
Iterate and scale reporting models; partner with stakeholders to understand and deliver sustainable processes for associate volunteers and leaders; ensure tools meet enterprise support needs. - Test, Learn, and Scale
:
Report KPIs for tools, programs, and interaction models; measure and track metrics; adjust strategy based on data insights; seek field perspectives to automate, streamline, and document work, enhancing team and partner capacity.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year of experience working for a for‑profit company.
- At least 1 year of experience in program or project management.
- At least 1 year of experience creating and maintaining Tableau workbooks.
- Experience in process management.
- Experience in volunteerism, talent engagement, or morale initiatives.
- Background in community organizing, nonprofit, or political work.
- 2+ years of Tableau workbook creation & maintenance for shared use and/or Tableau certification.
- 2+ years of for‑profit company experience.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience.
Location‑specific ranges (full‑time):
- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 (Sr. Project Manager)
- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 (Sr. Project Manager)
- Additional locations: salary aligned with local ranges.
