Senior Associate, Product Management, Fraud & Disputes Back Office

Our Fraud & Disputes Back Office team drives the core backend technology that facilitates the intake, management, and resolution of Capital One customers’ problems with their transactions. These range from a transaction they did not make (fraud) to problems with the merchant (items not delivered, refunds not issued, etc.). Our team’s goal is to ensure every customer’s claims are resolved in a timely, accurate manner enabled through well‑managed, customizable technology.

• End-to-End Product Ownership:
  Lead the strategy and delivery for critical back office product features.
• Technical Strategy & Platform Modernization:
  Partner with Tech to decommission legacy systems and craft the next generation of our ecosystem.
• Strategic Road mapping:
  Define overarching product priorities, align on definitions of success, and partner with others across the team to ruthlessly prioritize backlog and build airtight business cases for what your team should tackle next and why.
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
  Act as the ultimate bridge between Business Analysts, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Design to deliver transformative customer outcomes.
• Fungible Problem Solving:
  Pivot between domains – whether deep in the technical nuances of API consolidation or high-level business strategy – to apply structured problem-solving and AI tools to unfamiliar challenges and drive results.
• Risk & Controls Management:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement a modernized suite of preventative controls directly into our platform architecture.
• Ecosystem Curiosity:
  Explore beyond your immediate product scope, demonstrate a deep curiosity about the broader fraud landscape and how credit card organization drivers, like fraud loss mitigation and enabled spend, impact the company's bottom line.
