Sr. Corporate Development Manager

This role will partner with senior market and functional leaders to identify acquisition opportunities, develop business cases, conduct commercial due diligence, and evaluate potential investments. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic and analytical capabilities, advanced financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead M&A sourcing, acquisition and equity investment business cases, including strategic rationale, financial analysis, value drivers, and implementation plans.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, industry assessments, and business/commercial due diligence to evaluate opportunities and identify strategic risks.
- Build and analyze complex financial models, including waterfall models, forecasts, scenario analyses, ROI frameworks, valuations, and other decision-support tools.
- Partner with market and functional leaders to develop integration strategies, define success metrics, and support transactions throughout the end-to-end M&A lifecycle.
- Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership, investment committees, and board-level reviews while mentoring junior team members.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to structure complex business problems, synthesize large data sets, and deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Advanced financial modeling expertise, including Excel-based forecasting, financial waterfalls, scenario analysis, ROI frameworks, valuations, and large-data analysis using tools such as pivot tables.
- Experience with in the Aerospace, Defense, Government Services, or Technology sectors, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with federal budgets or within the Government Services sector.
- Advanced Excel modeling experience, including complex operating P&Ls and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
