Sr. Associate, Product Manager, Audit Insights & Innovation Product Management at Capital One is a vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The Audit Insights and Innovation (I&I) team is at the cutting edge of AI, data management, and machine learning to deliver key risk insights for internal auditors shaping the risk management landscape.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Manager you will:
- Bridge the gap between generative AI capabilities, enterprise‑scale design, and specialized domain expertise to navigate a complex regulated landscape and deliver high‑impact solutions.
- Own the vision and roadmap of the Audit Compass experience, driving immediate value to auditors.
- Collaborate with full‑stack engineering teams, UI/UX designers, data scientists, and subject‑matter experts to build AI‑assisted auditing experiences.
- Develop comprehensive acceptance criteria, conduct research, and define feature design.
- Break down business epics into features and user stories, prioritise roadmaps, and ensure risk processes are followed.
- Work autonomously in an agile environment, research new technologies, and deliver well‑managed product platforms.
- Partner with designers, technologists, and stakeholders to share succinct product roadmaps and elevate business value.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- At least 1 year of product management, product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, OR software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 1+ years translating business strategy into consumer‑facing digital products.
- 1+ years working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
- 1+ years as product owner in an agile development process with cross‑functional teams.
- Salary ranges:
McLean, VA – $111,200–$126,900;
Richmond, VA – $101,100–$115,400 (adjusted by location). - Performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives.
