Sr. Business Analyst - Enterprise Transformation

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Enterprise Transformation to join an industry leading credit union located in McLean, VA. The Senior Business Analyst will support complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives by translating business and technical needs into clear requirements, processes, and actionable solutions.

• Lead business analysis activities across discovery, requirements gathering, process design, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• Partner with business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Security, Operations, and vendor teams to deliver enterprise initiatives.
• Develop business and functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, workflow diagrams, and traceability documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, resolve ambiguity, document decisions, and align teams on future-state solutions.
• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows, identifying gaps, risks, controls, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, business validation, user signoff, and production readiness activities.
• Maintain project documentation including test scenarios, issue logs, decision logs, action items, and governance artifacts.
• Develop executive-ready updates that clearly communicate project progress, risks, issues, and required decisions.

• 5–8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Enterprise Transformation, Process Improvement, Technology Delivery, or Project Execution.
• Financial services, banking, or credit union experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience supporting complex, cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience developing requirements, process maps, workflows, acceptance criteria, test cases, and implementation documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, business validation, and production readiness.
• Ability to understand complex system dependencies, data flows, access requirements, controls, and operational impacts.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical, and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio; experience with Jira, Clarity, or similar platforms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required;
  Business Analysis, Project Management, or Process Improvement certifications preferred.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience
