The Single-Family division at Freddie Mac is seeking creative, curious, and technology-minded college students for a Business Intern role. Interns will learn about the mortgage business while building foundational skills in business analysis, data analytics, process improvement, and emerging AI-enabled tools.

- Single-Family supports the housing market by providing liquidity, promoting responsible lending, and enabling sustainable home ownership
- Our team supports mortgage loan acquisition, securitization, servicing processes, and business tools that improve the borrower and lender experience
- We help integrate innovative applications, business capabilities, and AI-enabled tools that support Freddie Mac and our lenders
- We collaborate with financial institutions, investors, and technology teams to support effective business solutions
Your Impact:
You will support Single-Family teams through data analytics, product development, seller experience, process improvement, and emerging AI tools
- Responsibilities may include documenting processes, helping develop business requirements, supporting projects, performing research and analytics, and identifying process improvements
- You may create and present business insights and recommendations using Microsoft Office and AI-assisted productivity tools
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Business Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical ability, communication skills, curiosity, confidence, and willingness to learn
- Exposure to AI tools, automation, data analytics, product development, or process improvement preferred
- Graduation in December 2027 or May 2028 preferred, with availability to work May through August 2027

Interns are paid a set, non-negotiable rate. The hourly rate for this position is $32/hr.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $54,000 - $82,000. All interns positions are paid at an hourly rate, which can be found in the body of the job description.
