Schedule: 2:30–6:30 PM
• 4 hours per day or 3 days per week

About Us The T.E.A. Center is an innovative and nurturing early childhood and youth enrichment center in McLean, VA. We believe in empowering young minds through creativity, movement, and self-expression. We are seeking a passionate Dance Teacher to lead engaging after-school enrichment classes for children.

Position Summary The ideal candidate brings energy, creativity, and a love for teaching children. You will lead fun and structured dance sessions that build confidence, coordination, self-expression, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

• Lead age-appropriate dance and movement activities
• Introduce basic choreography, rhythm, and creative movement
• Encourage self-expression through music and movement
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment
• Prepare simple routines or showcases when appropriate
• Collaborate with enrichment teachers and center staff
• Maintain a safe, organized space and monitor participation

• Experience in dance, creative movement, or performing arts
• Experience working with children ages 3–12 preferred
• Positive, energetic, and encouraging personality
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements
• Bonus: Background in education or choreography

• Schedule: 2:30–6:30 PM (4 hours daily or 3x per week)
• Pay: Starting at $13–$18/hour, based on experience
