American International Contractors (Special Projects), Inc. (AICI-SP) is seeking Safety Manager candidates to work overseas on projects in Europe and the Middle East. We are a leading construction firm in the Department of State, Overseas Building Operations (OBO) program, with a culture of innovation and a commitment to our employees. Candidates should hold an active secret security clearance or be able to obtain one, with experience working with Department of State OBO or U.S. Corps of Engineers and international experience highly valued.

Primary FunctionThe Safety Manager will supervise construction safety programs, manage OSHA inspections, and train employees on safety regulations, ensuring compliance with U.S. Government guidelines.
Essential Duties- Ensure compliance with all OHS requirements and local policies
- Implement and enforce the Construction Accident Prevention Plan (CAPP)
- Identify hazards, conduct training, and oversee safety measures
- Maintain knowledge of construction safety laws
- Develop safety policies and standards
- Investigate accidents and maintain tracking systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 30-hour OSHA construction safety certification
- 5 years as a site safety manager or 4 years with CSP certification
- Knowledge of EM385-1-1
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willing to work overseas
- International construction experience
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- First-aid and CPR certification
- Certified in scaffolding, fall protection, hazardous energy, and chemical safety
This role requires physical agility, mobility, and the ability to work in high-stress, outdoor construction environments, often overseas, with exposure to various hazards and conditions.
This is a full-time position with a 60-hour workweek, requiring flexibility and resilience in challenging environments.
