Anchor Homesis a growing construction company serving the Northern Virginia / Washington DC area, specializing in site work and residential projects. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable
Mini Excavator / Bobcat Operator to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have proven equipment operating experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to assist with general job site tasks as needed.
Spanish/English bilingual communication is preferred, and candidates who can read grading plans, coordinate with crews, and take on leadership responsibilities will have opportunities to grow into a crew lead role.
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including Mini Excavators, Excavators, and Bobcat skid steers
on residential job sites. - Support daily site preparation, grading, trenching, and material handling
as needed. - Assist with general construction labor tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Perform physical work in outdoor environments, demonstrating strong stamina, reliability, and a solid work ethic.
- Work closely with the team to follow instructions and maintain a safe, organized job site.
- Leadership ability
or experience helping manage and coordinate a small crew is a strong plus.
- Proven hands-on experience operating Bobcat skid steers, Mini Excavators, and related construction equipment
. - Strong work ethic — must be hard-working, dependable, honest, and responsible
. - Positive attitude with the ability to follow directions and communicate basic instructions clearly on the job site.
- Spanish/English bilingual is preferred
to support communication with diverse crews. - Ability to read and understand grading plans
, and effectively communicate site requirements with crew members and other trades. - Prior experience leading or coordinating with a small crew is preferred but not required.
- Own tools are a plus — applicants should be prepared to share what tools they currently have.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
