Summary
JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Manager to provide reliable, timely, and professional support, and lead the day to day project management activities. The position entails working with a group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
Projects include interior fit outs, renovations, AV improvements and FM/Engineering repairs/upgrades.
- Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
- On site presence 4-5 days per week
- Develop scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget and scope
- Create, coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals ("RFPs")
- Interact and negotiate with contractors and vendors
- Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, maintain files for due diligence and financials
- Actively track project schedule against critical path to identify risk
- Coordinate the activities of vendors and contractors based on scope and schedule, inclusive of critical support spaces
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology as required for assigned projects
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
- Ability to prepare and track budgets, schedules and project risk
- Understanding of technical requirements for a business relocation, construction and renovation projects
- Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts a plus
- Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines, in a fast-paced team or independent environment
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client’s representatives, and team members
- Ability to be adaptable and agile to client changes and requests
- Travel estimated at approximately 10 - 20%
- Must have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google/Project Management Applications
