Technical Editor
As a communications professional, you will edit and revise AI documentation and guidance, support stakeholders, and help promote the organization’s reputation through effective communication. Your work will involve designing, developing, producing, and advising on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support national security.
Responsibilities- Edit and revise AI documentation and guidance.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective AI governance.
- Design, develop, and produce communication materials for national security purposes.
- Proofreading, editing, and correcting text for style and accuracy.
- Applying IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, ICD 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- HS diploma or GED and at least 7 years of experience as an editor or technical editor, or bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience as an editor or technical editor.
- Experience producing or managing technical or analytic products.
- Experience as a technical editor in an IC organization.
- Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and ICD 203 tradecraft standards.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
CompensationSalary range: $55,200.00 to $ (annualized USD).
