Architectural Designer
Join a growing, highly collaborative architecture group within an engineering-focused environment and contribute to a global portfolio of cutting-edge data center projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong, design-minded Architectural Designer who wants to shape their position over time, gain international project exposure, and work at the intersection of architecture and engineering. You will operate in a small, high-impact team where your ideas are visible, your influence is meaningful, and your work directly supports complex, infrastructure-heavy building types.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and documentation of large-scale data center projects across global locations.
- Collaborate closely with internal MEP and engineering teams to ensure seamless, coordinated design solutions.
- Develop and refine technical details, construction documentation, and Revit models for complex projects.
- Assist in navigating and resolving design challenges related to complex building systems and infrastructure-heavy environments.
- Participate in project coordination meetings across multiple time zones to maintain alignment among stakeholders.
- Support project delivery from early concept design through construction administration, contributing at each project phase.
- Prepare, update, and maintain construction documents and production drawings in Revit with a high level of accuracy.
- Contribute to project management activities as needed, helping to track progress, coordinate deliverables, and meet project deadlines.
- Travel, as needed, to project sites globally to support coordination, design intent, and execution in the field.
Essential Skills
- 2–5 years of professional experience in architecture, preferably within an engineering or multidisciplinary firm.
- Strong technical foundation in architectural design, particularly for complex building types or large commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to produce and manage detailed models and construction documents.
- Experience with construction documentation and production for commercial or large-scale projects.
- Experience coordinating with MEP and other engineering disciplines in a highly integrated project environment.
- Background in commercial construction and familiarity with the construction process.
- Ability to contribute to project management tasks, including coordination and delivery support.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with evolving project needs.
- Proactive, adaptable mindset with a strong desire to help shape and grow a developing architecture team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to high-rise residential, mixed-use, or similarly complex project types.
- Experience working on large commercial projects, including data centers or other infrastructure-heavy facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and MEP groups.
- Interest in complex building systems and infrastructure-focused design challenges.
- Strong communication skills for participating in coordination meetings across multiple time zones.
- Motivation to define and evolve your role within a small, entrepreneurial team environment.
Work Environment
This role is based in a fully in-office, collaborative setting, five days per week, within a small architecture team embedded in a larger engineering organization. You will work in close proximity to engineering and MEP teams, enabling real-time coordination and rapid problem-solving. The culture is fast-moving and entrepreneurial, yet supported by the stability and resources of an established firm. Work hours are flexible rather than strictly 9–5, and are aligned with project needs and global coordination requirements.
The environment emphasizes high impact, open communication, and close collaboration on complex, large-scale data center and commercial projects.
