Architect​/Architectural Designer in McLean

Job Description

Qualified candidate will develop and be responsible for SD, DD and CD deliverables (in CAD and Revit) for high‑quality projects of different scales for high‑end luxury residential, hospitality, embassy, retail and commercial office projects. The candidate will also manage most aspects of CA. They will perform in conjunction with Principals and team members to maintain project quality, profitability, performance and client satisfaction.

Full‑time position in our Tyson's Corner/McLean office.

• Minimum 9 years of U.S. experience with IBC and IRC emphasizing high‑end residential; additional experience in hospitality, embassy, retail, and commercial office projects is a plus.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Architectural Registration ideal but not required.
• Strong familiarity with DC/VA/MD local building codes, zoning, accessibility, and general knowledge of jurisdictional processes and best practices within the design and construction industries.
• Essential knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate work with outside consultants.
• Extensive experience in construction document preparation, familiarity with project specifications, and field observation.
• Capability to design, detail and produce CAD or Revit drawings from SD through CD's with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently.
• AutoCAD & MS Office proficiency required; 3DS Max proficiency and Revit.
• LEED AP.
