Music​/Dance Teacher; Summer Camp

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with children, families and staff and build a positive relationship.

• Supervise children attending the program and promote safety and respect amongst all participants.
• Ensure a friendly and supportive atmosphere is maintained by developing appropriate strategies to support children in managing their behavior.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program which will meet the needs of the children for Ages 2.5-5 years.
• Monitor individuals or small groups of students assigned to the classroom program; assure student understanding of program rules and procedures; maintain appropriate order and student conduct.
• Assist with planning and conducting an orientation program for parents and students regarding the program's policies and procedures.
• Assist with the development and coordination of a calendar for program activities and events designed to compliment student learning and enrichment.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for students; demonstrate and involve students in cleaning and organizing the program activities areas before, during, and after use/circle time, creative play.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and assist with in-service training as needed.
